Security
Professionalize operates its applications on Amazon EC2 servers. Using a trusted, industry-standard provider such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) ensures the security and resilience of our services. AWS maintains multiple certifications that confirm the presence of stringent, continuously monitored internal controls.Physical Security
Amazon is responsible for maintaining the physical security of its data centers. These facilities are non-descript, designed for maximum discretion, and protected by extensive setback and perimeter control measures. Access to data centers requires multi-factor authentication at several checkpoints, ensuring that only authorized personnel can enter.Data Security
The host operating system is secured through Amazon’s internal controls and monitoring procedures, while the guest operating system is managed entirely by Professionalize. Amazon administrators do not have access to it. By default, inbound firewalls deny all traffic to host servers unless explicitly permitted.Backups
Amazon’s systems are built with extensive redundancy to ensure high availability. Professionalize performs daily data backups, and all access to backup systems is logged and tracked for auditing and compliance purposes.Maintaining Privacy
Account passwords are encrypted and automatically filtered from all system and application logs. Passwords are never visible to anyone, including Professionalize team members.
Users are automatically signed out after 30 minutes of inactivity to prevent unauthorized access.
To maintain security, users should always sign out when finished and keep their username and password confidential. If a third party gains access to an account due to user negligence, the user is solely responsible for any resulting loss.
In specific cases, Professionalize may request passwords to third-party services only with explicit user consent, for the sole purpose of linking authorized accounts. Any such passwords are handled securely, used exclusively for their intended purpose, and never stored on Professionalize servers.
Credit Card Safety
Professionalize does not retain any credit card information provided by customers. All payment data is transmitted directly to and processed by our certified payment gateway provider.
To safeguard user transactions, the payment gateway employs 256-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption and complies with Payment Card Industry (PCI) and Cardholder Information Security Program (CISP) standards for data protection.
